Marlborough Parent Advisory Council Needs New Volunteers!!
Dear Marlborough Families,
Our Marlborough School PAC is in need of new volunteers as a number of
our current parents will be leaving our school (children are moving on
to high school).
If you would like to be part of the executive or if you know someone who
would like to be a part of our executive, please come to our May Annual
General Meeting on Wednesday, May 16th at 7:00 pm in the West Building
Staffroom. If you are unable to attend at this meeting, you can be
elected at the next Marlborough Parents' Meeting.
All parents are welcome to come attend (child minding is available).
All positions on the executive are available and volunteers can share
the same position (like job sharing). Nomination ballots and the ballot
box are located in the West Office.

All fundraisers are ongoing for 2011/12 so we encourage you to watch for written announcements sent home with your child.

HOT LUNCH MONEY COLLECTION: Monday, January 16th and Monday, April 16th
HOT LUNCH MONEY COUNT: Tuesday, January 17th and Tuesday, April 17th

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HOT LUNCH FORM CONSISTS OF THREE MONTHS OF LUNCH ORDERS - January to March and then April to June.
1. HOT LUNCH MONEY COLLECTION - Monday, January 16th and Monday, April 16th
With the teachers' job action, the Hot Lunch Program is responsible for collecting orders and money from students directly on Monday, January 16th and Monday, April 16th from 12:00 to 12:20 pm (during lunch hour). If you are able to help at this time, please reply to
marlboroughvip@gmail.com.
2. HOT LUNCH MONEY COUNT - Tuesday, January 17th and Tuesday, April 17th
We will be counting and tallying orders on Tuesday, January 17th and Tuesday, April 17th at 9:00 am on the West Gym Stage. Since we will be counting for three months of orders, lunch will be served as we anticipate that it will take longer to count. Many volunteers are needed to help make this a success. If you are available and have some time to spare to lend a helping hand, please come by reply to

3. HOT LUNCH DAY - See dates above
Please mark the above dates on your calendar. Volunteers are needed to help sort and distribute hot lunch items in the East Building lobby at 10:30 am and to clean up after lunch. Please reply to
marlboroughvip@gmail.com if you are able to come and help on Hot Lunch Day.
REMINDER! SAVE AN ENVELOPE OR A PLASTIC BAGGIE!
Thank you to everyone who has submitted their order in the tape-less and staple-less envelope format. Baggies are still being used with this new format which is not necessary.
If folded correctly, the money will not fall out (no additional tape is needed to seal the order or placed in a plastic bag). Please remember to write your child's name and division number on both sides of the order form.
Please avoid sending excessive coinage in order to make this a success. Cheques would be very helpful.
